The CLOS DE LA GARDE is only minutes away from Chinon in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Loire Valley.
Enjoy your holiday in two spacious, recently renovated suites with separate living and bed room in a complex of buildings of the 18th century – surrounded by a 3000 m² garden.
Both suites are equipped with large sized bed, modern bathroom with spacious shower, heated towel rail, hair dryer and toiletries, tea making facilities and heating.
Book your dinner (table d’hôtes) in advance and start with an aperitif served in the amazing wine cellar, followed by a 4-course menu – prepared with freshly home grown fruit and vegetable whenever available.
We speak English, French and German. Private parking is available, as well as free W-Lan. Satellite TV.

Coming from CHINON (D 749 direction St. Maure de Touraine/A 10) follow at the roundabout (6 km) D 760 to L’Ile Bouchard/A 10. After the village sign ANCHÉ take the first street at the right (blue sign “Le Clos de la Garde”) and after 200 m you have the CLOS DE LA GARDE on your right. Bon voyage!
Coming from ST. MAURE DE TOURAINE/A 10 take D 760 direction Chinon. Cross the Vienne River in L’Ile-Bouchard and after the villages Tavant and Sazilly pass through ANCHÉ and before the village’s exit sign turn left. After 200 m you have the CLOS DE LA GARDE on your right. Bon voyage!
